Birgitta Jonsdottier
Birgitta Jonsdottier
Before becoming a member of the Icelandic Parliament in April 2009, Birgitta Jonsdottier worked as a writer, artist, activist, web developer, and designer. Her website is an artistic work- in-progress starting in 1995: it is not a website of a traditional politician since Birgitta is everything but a traditional politician. Her political views are not expressed on this website since she does not think of politics as something beyond her everyday life. Being political is having opinions. Every person has the opportunity to change the world. This has been the thread Birgitta has woven through her life. This website is thus an artistic creation of life in motion.

Future Fluxus / Urania / 29.09.2011, 19:00 - 23:00
The project Future Fluxus is an experiment on many layers of cultural memory. Like it should be, one should add, if it is true that, in many European countries, and since at least 1995, we have been fed back by diverse forms of online cultures that, so it is said and believed, actually, are developing 4-8 times faster than analogue cultures. Are we to be scared now?
