exonemo (Japan)
Artist unit comprising Yae Akaiwa and Kensuke Sembo. Since 1996, exonemo has presented experimental website productions, installations, and live performances by the equipment of its own making, crossing over various media, software/hardware and digital/analog. In 2006 they won the Ars Electronica Golden Nica Award in the category of Net Vision. exonemo is based in Tokyo and exonemo.com.
